Our first summer news from down-under !
"Du blabla et des photos !!" --- paraphrased from François Grimonprez (http://www.txmplayer.com)We made it to our dream land on January 16th 2006. TK and Fleur picked up 3 tired Europeans fellows at the airport. A blissful landing in paradise !
We thank you so dearly, TK, Cyril, Fleur and Cameron, for your gentleness, magnificient welcome and unfaltering patience !
Your house became ours instantaneously, we felt good, Cille immediately fit in, like the 3rd one of an über-parented family (2 dads, 2 mums, 1 grand-ma, 1 sister and 1 brother !!!). In brief we felt ready to roll out into wonderland :-)
That gave us an unbelievable kickstart to over-achieve our goals for the first 2-weeks:
- get registered wherever possible
- get a house (with a fabulous deck to watch over a jungle-paradise with parrots !!!)
- get an aussie bank account
- get a car (which was not our best-buy ever...)
- move-in
And most important of all : DISCOVER & ENJOY !

Now we are in phase 2, which includes create our own rythm in our new house and environment. Find a day care solution for Cille. Get the finances right and still manage to furnish and establish our home-sweet-home. Start prospecting for jobs, contracts and map out our business goals.
But that is another story :-)
For now we send you all sandy kisses and renew our invitation to any of you tempted to come and taste the Aussie-way-of-life !
